I purchased a black leather backpack style purse back in the day for $*^; Let's just say I got my money's worth because my daughter now uses it. Anyhoo, she is a great designer and I love her new collection which is full of black, classic and edgy pieces!!

I love the mix of feminine & masculine dressing; Ralph Lauren's Spring line is full of demin, silk and lace giving the collection a relaxed elegance! I would wear everything right off the runway and I'm a huge fan of the newsboy caps, they add a certain flair. New York Fashion Week definitely saved one of the best for last!!!

Badgley Mischka is known for red carpet glamour and their Spring 2010 collection was nothing short of fabulous. The color palette ranged from red, grey, black and white. This collection drapes the female form beautifully.

I love the vibrant colors & patterns of Spanish designer, Custo Dalmau's Spring line named Custo Barcelona. I'm estatic he hired many black beauties to model the island inspired collection. Custo Barcelona opened at the main tent in Bryant Park this year!!

Fashion's Night Out: Beverly Hills

Fashion's Night Out might have been centered in the NYC, but Los Angeles was definitely on the map. I attended the event and got my tee which is super soft. Champagne was served as everyone shopped and mingled!!

I snapped this picture at the entrance of Neiman Marcus and the ambience inside was very energetic.

The fashion show started around 6:45, which showcased Fall picks such as biker-chic jackets, leopard print everything, and statement necklaces. The pictures I took of the models on the runway were not clear so I decided not to post them; nevertheless, the show was fab and I was certainly in my element with wall- to-wall fashion all around me!!

Style.com has a new iPhone fashion app for "Fashion's Night Out" where navigating through the 800 plus stores that are participating, is at your fingertips. Address, phone number and possible celebrity and fashionista citings will be listed.

This event will of course, be over the top in New York but there are stores in Los Angeles and other major cities that will be part of the big night. The Fashion's Night Out tee can be purchased in Beverly Hills at Neiman Marcus on 9/10/09 from 6-9pm.

Oh, how I wished I was a New York resident during September because New York Fashion Week is fast approaching!
