This Is It!!

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" is out today on Blu-Ray and DVD. I pre-ordered mine and am excited to see it because I didn't make it to the theater to experience it. I know it will be magical.

Michael trying on his tuxedo pants for "Billie Jean" which lit up on either side. He was a pure musical genius.

A glimpse of costumes that would have be worn for the "This Is It" tour! Without a doubt, fashion has truly been inspired by Michael Jackson.

Military jackets are popping up on the fashion scene with force but Michael Jackson was definitely way ahead of the fashion houses with this style. I think they are hot and can add a certain flair to your wardrobe but because of the embellishments on these jackets, little or no accessories are needed!

Studs

Balmain's star studded jacket is taking me back to my teenaged years when Michael Jackson was the hottest performer in the world. The Gloved-one often wore this style of jacket. The side detail of the jacket looks like an"ankh." An ankh is an Ancient Eygptian symbol representing "life" which is the focal point of my business "Divine Life Collection."

Paris Fashion Week Spring 2009: Balmain

Balmain's Spring 2009 collection out of Paris is taking me back to 80's punk rock and when Michael Jackson influenced a culture with his music, his dancing and his style of over the top military studded jackets. The use of crystals on the designs and stilettos give them a wow factor. Models rocked feminine and masculine pieces on the runway. The black jeans look like they have a crystal ankh embroidered on the front, if so, great minds think alike because as you can see, the ankh is the symbol I'm using alongside my logo for my business, Divine Life Collection!
