My girlfriends and I attended the NAACP Image Awards on Friday. We didn't take any pictures but had a ball nonetheless. Most of the fashion choices were lovely. I was touched by Wyclef's tribute performance to Haiti.

New York Fashion Week: Donna Karan Fall 2010
Donna Karan
Donna Karan was the first designer that I started wearing from head to toe, including her leather bags. I purchased a black leather backpack style purse back in the day for $*^; Let's just say I got my money's worth because my daughter now uses it. Anyhoo, she is a great designer and I love her new collection which is full of black, classic and edgy pieces!!

Fashion For Relief: Haiti
Red Carpet Ready
Oscar Award nominated actress, Monique, has always embraced herself and hasn't tried to conform to Hollywood's standard of size and beauty. She looks like a goddess in each set.
I stay up late to catch her talk show which is awesome because she features great guests.

A Soft Palette
Hands down, these three ladies were indeed the best dressed of the Grammys 2010. I love the soft color palette that they all chose.
What can I say about Rihanna? She always gives unexpected glamour and she looked stunning in a feathered pale pink backless Elie Saab gown. Beyonce's nude textured Stephane Rolland dress was impeccable and this is the softest I've seen Keri Hilson; she looked amazing in her blush colored Dolce & Gabbana strapless gown with a gorgeous embellished belt.
