Fashion and Movies: Breakfast at Tiffany's
Breakfast at Tiffany's by Deanna Jackson featuring Lela Rose dresses
Breakfast at Tiffany's is my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie. As Holly Golightly, she was a carefree fashionista who fell in love with a handsome writer who lived in the same apartment building in Manhattan. Her style was so classy and effortless.

Liya Kebede: Face of J. Crew catalog
Liya's Crewcuts
J.Crew partners with Liya Kebede to carry her handmade children's collection, Lemlem
(NEW YORK) When J.Crew creative director Jenna Lyons and team met supermodel, mother of two, and International Goodwill Ambassador Liya Kebede, a relationship was born. Lyons approached Kebede to appear in the April catalog, but both quickly realized their relationship needn't end there. The product of their partnership? Not only will Kebede be the first model to be the exclusive face of a J.Crew catalog, but J.Crew's Crewcuts line will pick up pieces from the model's handmade children's clothing line, Lemlem. Lemlem (the name means "to bloom") was launched by Kebede in 2007, with all of the pieces made by hand from natural cotton in her native Ethiopia. The line will be available at Crewcuts store locations and at jcrew.com beginning in April.

Lavender is such a soft and feminine color. The lavender plant has numerous medicinal properties such as treating insomnia and headaches; so not only is lavender a beautiful hue but also a helpful herb.

Zoe 2
Zoe's Second Season
The Rachel Zoe Project films during Paris Fashion Week
Friday, March 13, 2009
(PARIS) Camera crews have emerged as one of Paris Fashion Week's most ubiquitous accessories, with CNN following Carine Roitfeld and 60 Minutes documenting Anna Wintour for upcoming shows. It appears that Rachel Zoe is still bitten by the Bravo bug--given the presence of a producer and crew following her, most recently at Louis Vuitton yesterday afternoon, it appears that The Rachel Zoe Project has been renewed for a second season. The stylist was also spotted posing for photos with Harvey Weinstein at John Galliano--an interesting development following her break with Weinstein-owned Halston approximately one year ago.
And in other Zoe news, Decades Two is co-hosting a Raid Rachel's Contemporary Costume Jewelry Collection event at its Melrose location to benefit charity on March 26.

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2009: Martin Grant
I live for fashion and I pride myself in my knowledge of fabulous designers, but I have to honestly admit that I have never heard of designer, Martin Grant before today and I was blown away by his collection; very classic and timeless pieces that should be in every woman's wardrobe. The color palette consisted of fuschia, buttercream, heather gray and black. Martin Grant didn't do the traditional runway show for his fall pieces but model, Ajuma Nasanyana was photograghed in his gorgeous collection and she looked absolutely stunning!
