From time to time, I will post on fashionable movies. I revel in movies whose main focus is on fashion. In" The Devil Wears Prada", the fashion was incredible. Meryl Streep played Miranda Priestly, who was the editor-in-chief at Runway magazine, think Anna Wintour of Vogue. Anyhoo, her wardrode was amazing and of course most pieces were Prada and from the Donna Karan archives. Miranda dressed with confidence!! Anne Hathaway played Andrea Sachs, the personal assistant to Miranda. Andrea had a fashion makeover with the help of Nigel, the art director at Runway, played by Stanley Tucci; it was indeed needed because her wardrobe was so blah....but one of the perks of the job was borrowing fabulous designs and accessories such as Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Calvin Klein.

Diamonds Are A Girl's Bestfriend

I'm such a girly girl; so I love diamonds and crystals because they are gorgeous yet simplistic...such as diamond stud earrings. But what about diamond encrusted gowns and dresses?? No, we don't need another reality TV show but here goes another one and I have to say I will no doubt watch it because I am such a fashion junkie. Stylista premiered tonight on the CW and it is about young fashion editor hopefuls trying to get a job at Elle magazine. They are running around trying to win each task at hand to please fashion editor, Anne Slowey. So here's to another guilty pleasure show!!!
